A lot has been written about the design of ebook covers. I guess the main rule is that your ebook cover should be professional looking. Yes, people do still judge a book by its cover, and if you just put the title on the cover with no pictures and little color, most people will judge that your ebook is dull and not worth the price.
Even though it's true that a fantastic looking cover will not make your ebook one smidgen better, it has been proven that a fantastic looking cover can help your ebook sell. In fact, it can make a huge difference in the sales you make.

Most covers can first be created flat or as a 2-dimensional design. The very best covers are normally created with the aid of Adobe Photoshop. Some of the work above was done in Photoshop.
